That's odd, it's sending the command to upload, but then not doing anything at all.  No errors or any signs of it trying to upload.  I'll locate a machine with Catalina and come back to you (my machine is still stuck on high sierra).

Hmm. This all seems correct. Have you tried a restart?  Sometimes required on Macs.
To confirm:  you're using an FTDI cable from the Atmegatron accessories pack?  you got the driver from here? https://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

Hi - can you post the output of the console. Tick the box in easy uploader.  Try to upload the hex. Then paste the result here.

Hi - I think you haven't installed the FTDI cable. You need to download and install the drivers.  Then select it in the dropdown box in Easy Uploader. You've currently got the Mac's Bluetooth port selected.

Hi - the Odytron Patches should be a .eep file, not .hex, so you shouldn't have been able to load this as firmware (it'll only upload .hex files, not .eep)

What happens if you upload a different firmware?  Does the software upload OK and all is back to normal? If it doesn't upload, click the "show console" box in Easy Uploader and copy and paste the text here, so I can see what happens.  thanks

Hi - I'm still working away on ATX.  Apologies for going silent, there's just so much to do.  To confirm the new ATX range will consist of:
Atmegatron II - 2 Atmegatrons + new powerful control interface
Atmultitron - 8 Atmegatrons, analogue filter, analogue VCA + control interface + keybed + joystick
Separate Eurorack modules of Atmegatron, Filter, VCA, Controller (required for control of other modules), possibly joystick/keybed interface and other IO modules.

The idea of ATX is that it's expandable, so 1 controller can control upto 8 synths and 8 fx cards (filters, VCAs, fx etc).

Let me know if you want any more info (apart from price, still can't do that yet I'm afraid!)

Lemur and Ctrlr are just methods of controlling the miniAtmegatron via CC messages.  They aren't VSTs, but you can control it from your DAW over USB MIDI.  All parameters are available on CCs.

The main change was the RGB LED, which has different pin-outs. You'll see issue2 or 3 written on the PCB.  If the LED colours look wrong, just try the other one. It won't damage the board.

Hi - that range of Atmegas wouldn't be compatible without significant changes to the code and schematic.  Think it would be possible though, with the necessary changes.

Hi - what temperature did you have your soldering iron on?  As long as it wasn't on mega-hot mode, I'm sure the board will be fine.
R.e. the capacitor you replaced:  if the metal pads have been totally destroyed, you will need to use bits of wire to attach the cap to the traces.  Which cap was it that you replaced?
R.e. the LEDs.  Nearly all these pins are bridged!  I recommend buying some desoldering braid to remove the excess solder. There must not be any contact between the pads.
Also, there's no header in CONN4!  Don't forget to put this in - it won't work without it!

1) Yes these 3 are definitely logarithmic.  The others are linear
2) The codes are explained in the datasheet: https://www.mouser.co.uk/datasheet/2/54/tv09-777818.pdf
The 4 in "4225F" means that there is no sleeve to the pot, so it will wobble (some early units actually have this type, because I could not get stock of the other type)
The first 2 in "4225F"  means that there is a centre detent.  There isn't any need for a centre detent with any of the pots.  You use a detent when middle = 0 (but the Atmegatron only uses anti-clockwise = 0).
So technically and electrically PTV09A-4225F-B102 is fine, by you may find the differences annoying!

PTV09A-1025F-A203 will not fit the logarithmic pot holes.  They must be "dual gang" with 6 pins.
