I've followed the step-by-step instructions but when I go to select the .hex file to upload it's greyed out and un-selectable. What am I doing wrong?

Ah I think it may be an issue that has happened to someone else too. Has the file saved as a text file rather than a .hex file? If it has, you need to manually convert it's type to a hex file. Are you using a Mac?
It does save as a text file. I do have a Mac.
How do I convert it? Thank you!

Open finder window
Finder->Preferences...
Advanced tab
check Show all file name extensions
Change .txt or .text to .hex
that should be it! Paul
